About
Founded by award-winning writer-producer Owen Thomas, a graduate of the
National Film and Television School’s MA Producing programme and former journalist.Tenement Productions combines practical production experience with research-led storytelling and creative development, informed by work across documentary and factual television, alongside experience
developing work within creative agencies for commercial clients.The focus is on shaping ideas from early concept through to structured scripts,
treatments, pitch materials, and production-ready work.

DRAGFOX
Short film project co-written and produced by Owen Thomas. Cast includes Ian McKellen in the titular voice role. Premiered at Telluride. Recognised and awarded by BAFTA, The Academy and RTS. 200+ festivals.
FACTUAL
As a former journalist based in Ireland, Owen was a core member of BBC News teams that produced award-winning radio programmes, television documentaries and online content surrounding legacy issues of The Troubles.
BRANDED
Owen worked as an Account Executive at creative agency Wire (now John Doe), supporting the development of brand storytelling across commercial campaigns for clients including Diageo and other international travel and lifestyle brands.
